Top 5 Ice Cream Flavors

by Ice Cream Maker Reviews on May 8, 2007

Recently I’ve been asked by a number of people what my favorite ice cream is. I can never seem to list an absolute favorite, but here are my 5 favorite ice creams.

  1. Ben and Jerry’s Cherry Garcia. I can’t think of an ice cream that I enjoy more than Cherry Garcia. There’s just something about it that I absolutely love.
  2. Oreo at Sebastian Joe’s in Minneapolis, MN. This ice cream is hands down the best Oreo ice cream I’ve ever eaten. I doubt if I will ever find an Oreo ice cream that’s more flavorful and rich than this one is. If you get a chance to visit Minneapolis (especially during the summer) head over to Sebastian Joe’s get a scoop of Oreo and walk around the lakes.
  3. Homemade Easy Cocoa chocolate ice cream. I adore chocolate, yet somehow most chocolate ice creams don’t live up to my expectations. This ice cream recipe is incredibly easy to make and buying the incredibly is cheaper than buying a carton.
  4. Brown Bread Ice Cream at Murphy’s Ice Cream in Dingle, Ireland. Brown Bread ice cream is extremely unique and wonderful. Plus, I have fond memories of wondering the streets of Dingle, one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been.
  5. Haagen Dazs Vanilla Bean. Everyone needs a favorite vanilla; Breyer’s “all natural” vanilla was mine for a long time, until they started adding Tara Gum. Now, I choose the more fattening, but actually all natural, Haagen Dazs vanilla bean.

I love this idea! I got to your “Top 5″ through ProBlogger, but didn’t realize you were local. Check out my “Top 5″, one of them is ice cream related too!

My all time favorite was Baskin Robbins’ Jamoca Almond Fudge. I haven’t had it in years, and I’m afraid to since I don’t know if would hold up to the recent “designer” ice creams.

My current favorite is Ben And Jerry’s Caramel Fudge Swirl.

I just discovered this blog! Great timing, as we’re about to go hopping across Europe in search of great ice cream, and will now make a point of trying Murphy’s!

I know cow milk ice cream mostly dominates this discussion, but being lactose intolerant, i had to find an alternative. For those with LI, check out Laloo’s Goat Milk Ice Cream. They have an amazing deep chocolate flavor that is out of this world. Its got less fat and less calories and all the same great chocolate taste. Seriously. Try it.

Mmm… Nothing better than a huge bowl of Ice Cream! My fav store bought is Breyer’s Cookie Dough, fav Ben and Jerry’s are Imagine Whirled Peace (John Lennon tribute flavor) with caramel and sweet cream ice cream with fudge peace signs and toffee bits, Phish Food (tribute to the band Phish) and Stephen Colbert’s Americone Dream is incredible too! Here in my hometown we have an Ice Cream shop called SweetTreats that you pick your starting flavor, (vanilla or chocolate), choose ice cream or frozen yogurt, then cup or cone, and finally you get to add up to 3 ingredients from the following catagories- Candy, Fruit, Nuts, and Extracts just to name a few. Then the ice cream or frozen yogurt is blended with the ingredients in a high power mixer and there you have it! My fav combo is Strawberry/Oreo/Cheesecake in vanilla ice cream put in a large waffle cone My overall fav ice cream though is Birthday Cake Remix at Cold Stone Creamery! YUMMM!

Ps. FOR LACTOSE INTOLERANT ICE CREAM LOVERS:
For lactose intolerant IC lovers, there is an alternative to having to eat Lactose free ice cream. Get the med Lactaid. It’s a pill with the Lactase enzyme that those with intolerance don’t have enough of. Take one of them 30 min prior to eating something with lactose in it and you’ll be pleasantly surprised that you feel just fine! You can get them in most any drug store or grocery store that sell antacids. ICE CREAM FOR LIFE FOTHRE MUCKERS!! Lol =)

You really make it seem really easy along with your presentation but I
to find this matter to be really one thing which I think
I might never understand. It sort of feels too complex and extremely huge for
me. I am having a look forward on your next post, I will try
to get the grasp of it!

This will get you traffic to your site and make money. They only want your money and they
want as much of it as they can possibly get. Make
certain that the payment gateway you are making use of, permits similar languages as the remaining of the web pages so that they can match well together.
